Roel van Lisdonk

Vanaf 2002 ben ik werkzaam in de ICT. Begonnen met VB6 applicaties ben ik met de komst van Microsoft .NET en het compact framework, overgestapt op mobile en internet applicaties. Tijdens de verschillende projecten ben ik me gaan verdiepen in de producten en platformen van Microsoft, zoals Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) en ASP .NET. Aangestoken door mijn collega’s probeer ik mijn taken en projecten op een “agile” manier aan te pakken. Tijdens ontwikkeling maak ik gebruik van extreme programming, onder ander door gebruik te maken van NUnit en NCover. Tevens maken we gebruik van de ADA Sofware Factory, voor de bouw en oplevering van onze producten.

In mijn vrije tijd ben ik vaak bezig met veldvoetbal, zaalvoetbal, hardlopen en andere café sporten ;-).

Als er dan nog tijd over is, lees ik graag fantasy boeken of “quest achtige” lectuur.

When you are calling a function on a WCF .NET RIA service, the completed eventhandler will take you back to the UI thread, but if you are binding the ListBox to a List<….> the UI of the Listbox won’t be updated. Solution: don’t use a List<…> as ItemSource but a System.Collections.ObjectModel.ObservableCollection<…>
